How do I know that a sales event is on?

We send regular emails to inform our members about the latest sales events. The email includes information about the brands and products on sale, as well as the savings on offer.

Be sure to keep your contact details up to date so you don't miss out!

 

 

How long are the sales events on MARKAH for a particular brand?

Sales events usually last for few days. The sale of individual products lasts as long as the product is available, so it is always good to get in early.

 

 

Are the prices fixed throughout a sale?

Yes – prices remain fixed from start to finish of all sales events. We aim to ensure that all our members have the same opportunities throughout an event. However, stock is limited, so members cannot hold items in their shopping cart. It is literally first come, best dressed!

 

 

Why are some products sold out?

We secure the best available deals for our members. This means that products can sometimes sell so fast that the demand exceeds available supply. Any sold out items will be noted as such on our site. Your best chance to secure your desired product is to place your orders as early as you can.

 

 

If I add a product to my shopping basket, does MARKAH reserve the product for me?

Due to the flash-sale nature of our business, popular products can sell out quickly. Adding a product to your shopping cart does not reserve it, as that product can be placed into multiple shopping carts at once. As our sales usually only last for few days, we believe it’s fairer for members to not be able to reserve products. We believe in giving every member an equal opportunity to purchase a product and therefore the first member to complete the checkout process will receive the product.

 

 

How can I sell my products on MARKAH?

How do I invite friends?

Once you have logged in, look for the ‘Invite Friends ' blocks at the top-right of the page. Then simply enter the email addresses of all the friends you would like to invite. We will reward you with a 50 EGP* voucher each time a friend you invite places their first order with us. (Limited time promotion, Terms & Conditions Apply)

 

 

Who can i invite other friends?

Currently only members have the ability to invite friends. And it pays to do so! We will reward you with a 50 EGP voucher when any friend you invite makes their first purchase.

Will my friends be spammed when I invite them?

No. We respect your friends' privacy and your trust is of utmost importance to us. Your friend will receive one email with an invitation to become a member.

 

 

How can I earn vouchers?

Simply invite your friends and you'll receive a 50 EGP voucher after each friend you invite places their first order with us. Your earning potential is unlimited – the more friends you invite, the more you can earn.

 

 

How can I check my voucher balance?

To check your voucher balance, please click on ‘my account' in the menu bar at the top right of the page. You can see your balance by clicking on the ‘My vouchers' tab.

 

 

How can I redeem my vouchers?

We've ensured that using your vouchers is a simple process. After you have added your items to your basket, click ‘Add Voucher' during the ‘Shopping Cart' section of Checkout. Select which voucher(s) you would like to use by clicking on the desired voucher  from the drop down menu.

 

 

Why haven't I received vouchers for the friends I invited?

Our system automatically issues you with a 50 EGP voucher after your friend has made their first valid purchase with us. Any vouchers you earn will become active in your account after a 14 day pending period from the date of your friend's first purchase. If you have invited a friend who has made their first purchase on MARKAH and you have not received a 50 EGP voucher, please contact our customer care team and we will investigate the matter for you.

Please make sure it was through your invitation that your friend joined us, and not somebody else's. Our customer service team will also check if the purchase your friend made was valid. For instance, if your friend returns their purchased item/s, the voucher will not be valid.

 

 

How do I order an item?

Ordering an item with MARKAH is simple. When you've a found a product you like, simply select your quantity and size before clicking the ‘Add to cart' button. The product will be placed in your shopping cart. You'll have the option to continue shopping or to proceed to the checkout by clicking the ‘Checkout' button.

At checkout, simply confirm your shipping and billing address, choose the gift service option and message if required and choose the desired payment method. This will complete your order. You will receive confirmation of your order from MARKAH via email.

 

 

How many items can I buy at any one time?

For most sales events there is no limit on the number of items you can purchase. However, for special sales, or sales where we've secured a limited number of products and want to make them available to as many members as possible, we may place a limit on the number of items you can buy.

 

 

Can I change my order?

An order can be changed as long as the sales event is still live on the website and the product has not sold out. Once a sales event has finished, an order cannot be changed.

 

 

Can I exchange a product for a different size?

An order can be changed as long as the sales event is still live on the website and the product has not sold out. As we run flash sales with limited product availability, it is not possible to exchange any products for a different colour, size or type once the sale has ended. (Please contact our customer care to check the availability for your request)

 

 

How do I cancel an order?

An order can be cancelled as long as the sales event is still live. Once the event has finished, an order cannot be cancelled.

In order to request a cancelation please go to “My order history” page under “my account” then click on the desired order you want to cancel all or a part of it and use the form to send us a message directly.

The cancellation will be processed within 24 hours and you will receive a confirmation email. Please note, at times there may be delays with refunding your card in case you paid for your order by credit card. This is usually due to the issuing bank, however please contact us if you have not received your refund within 21 days.

 

 

Can I combine orders from two concurrent events into one shopping basket?

Yes, you can shop across different sales events on MARKAH. Simply add your chosen items to the shopping basket and you’ll only pay one shipping charge for the whole order.

 

 

What is the return policy?

We are committed to providing exceptional customer service. If you don't like a product you've purchased for any reason, you can return it and get your money back within 7 days from the date of delivery  or get your refund in form of a voucher to use on future purchases at MARKAH if returned after 7days and within the 14 days time frame -  no questions asked. (any returns after 14 days will not be accepted)

Returns must be received in new, unwashed and unworn condition with all tags attached, in original and complete packaging.

How do I return an item?

If you have received faulty goods, or your goods are not as ordered, please follow these simple steps:

Click on the ‘my account' tab in the menu bar at the top right of the page.

Select ‘My Orders’.

Select the desired order or individual items that you wish to return and enter the return reasons.

Click ‘Send'.

You will receive a return authorization notice with instructions on what to do next and our return address. Please do not send any returns without a return authorization.

 

 

What payment options do you offer?

We accept credit card for online payments from Visa, MasterCard, if you don’t want to use your credit card online you can choose “Pay on Delivery (P.O.D.)” and pay for your order whether by cash or using offline credit card method covering all major credit/debit cards available.

 

 

How safe are my payments on MARKAH?

During payment, you will be redirected to our bank payment gateway to complete your payment and all your personal information is encrypted by a 128/256bit SSL connection. This means that the information cannot under any circumstances be intercepted by an unauthorized person.

We do not store any bank or credit card information after payment.

 

 

How safe are my personal details?

We have no access to your bank data and do not store any bank or credit card information. This is why you'll need to enter your payment details for each order you place with us.Your personal details such as your name or email address or any other information’s are only used to ensure that you receive the best deals available and that you are kept up to date with our sales events. Why was my credit card payment not accepted?

In our experience, the most common reason for a credit card payment to be declined is that the 3 or 4 digit security number (CCV security code) on your card was entered incorrectly. On most cards, the CCV is printed on the back of the card, usually after the card number. If a credit card number is provided with an incorrect CCV, the transaction will not be approved.

Please also ensure that you have sufficient credit available on your credit card to complete the transaction.

 

 

How long will it take to receive my order?

We deliver the next day In case your order is placed before 12pm and your delivery address is located within greater Cairo governate , otherwise it may take 3-5 days to receive your purchase.

 

 

How are my products sent and how much does it cost?

Our orders are delivered via the most efficient carrier for your region. Our major delivery partner is Egypt Express.

If no one is home at the time of attempted delivery, you will receive a notification card in your letter box with contact details to arrange collection.

Unless stated otherwise, our delivery charge for greater cairo governate is 20 EGP per order. At checkout, your delivery charges and total order amount are calculated in the 'payment' section.

 

 

Do you ship internationally?

MARKAH does not ship outside of Egypt at present.
